Steve Tuschen
General Manager

Steve joined the Mills team in 2019 bringing over 16 years of automotive experience, having most recently served as Fixed Operations Director for the Rydell Group in Mason City, Iowa.  Prior to that, Steve also worked with the Billion Auto Group.  He admits in all reality he's been working on or around vehicles "all my life", other than working for Citibank for 11 years.  Steve lives in Spicer along with wife Kimm and their children Jack and Cora.  "My wife is from the area, so I had been in the Willmar area for the last 20 years visiting the different lakes and looking forward to being in the area full-time", he said, happy to now be settled in.  Steve grew up in Salem, South Dakota, a small town outside of Sioux Falls, and went on to graduate from the University of South Dakota with a BS in Business Management.  He is active with the Knights of Columbus, and when not at work he enjoys travelling, riding motorcycle and being with his family.

Stefan Oehlberg
New Vehicle Sales Manager

Stefan joined the Mills team in 2020, bringing 6 years of prior automotive sales and management experience earned working in New York and Florida dealerships.  He grew up in Rockland County, New York and attended SUNY Rockland before taking a Sales Manager position at a dealership in Orangeburg, NY.  A move to Florida for 17 years led Stefan to working a slightly different vocation for a period of time, purchasing Structured Settlements and Annuities, before eventually coming back to work in the automotive field as a Brand Specialist for a dealership in Stuart, Florida.  Now living in Benson, Stefan continues to apply his skills and friendly personality assisting people with their automotive needs.  Stefan and wife Colleen have three children: Connor, Cole and Cora; 2 German Shepherds: Gunnar and Bella, a cat named Tiger and a boa constrictor named Fluffy.  When he's not working Stefan enjoys practicing Goju Ryu Karate, spending time with his family, and his family also enjoys volunteering at Feed My Hungry Children, a non-profit organization working toward a goal of ending childhood hunger worldwide.

Jordan Hagburg
Used Vehicle Sales Manager

A devoted family man who defines himself "a true automotive enthusiast down to the core", Jordan was the perfect fit to join the Mills team in 2020 with 10+ years of prior automotive experience gained working in areas from detail to sales and finance, indirect lending and dealership ownership.  Jordan grew up in the St. Cloud area, attending St. Cloud Tech High School with most of his post-high school study focused on Financial Planning, Sales, Member Experience, Human Resources and Leadership.  Currently living in Sartell with wife Lindsay, kids Gabrielle and Carter, and family pet Zoey, Jordan enjoys volunteering for Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit charity with a goal to end worldwide hunger for children.  He's also involved with the chamber, rotary, Sabre Gymnastics and Golf programs.  When he's not working, Jordan enjoys spending free time with the family, golfing, traveling and "anything automotive related- from just going to the carwash to car shows and races".

Heidi Thompson-Groves
Finance Manager

Heidi joined the Mills team in 2020, but draws from dealership experience that started for her in 1988, and most recently working at the Dave Syverson Auto Mall in Albert Lea.  "I love cars!  Cars, trucks, SUVs, all of them!  I love the way they look, sound, smell, perform!  I'm fascinated by the constant evolution of vehicles, in safety, performance, And I especially love helping people to get theirs," she said.  Originally growing up in Faribault, Minnesota, Heidi is an Army Veteran who has also has worked as a cook, armored truck driver / guard, mobile home broker, landscaper and bartender.  Married to Tim (General Manager of the other Willmar Mills dealership), their growing family includes 2 daughters: Amanda & Allison, grandson Evan and son-in-law Dan.  When she's not working Heidi enjoys "working in my yard, fishing with my husband every minute we have free, family, cuddling with our dog (Ranger), playing with our two cats (Zoey & Mogli), working on home improvement projects and cleaning my car".  Heidi's favorite causes include helping the local Animal Humane Society and lending her service toward Habitat for Humanity.

Dan Swart
Service Manager

Dan joined Mills Auto Center in October of 1988. Dan and his wife Linda have 4 children; Connor, Ava, Audrey and Charles. In his free time he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

Robert Ruter
Sales and Leasing Consultant

Robert has been in the automotive business since 1994. He has worked for Mills since the company originally acquired the dealership in Willmar. He has been married since 1993 and has two boys. Robert enjoys many outdoor activities, primarily snowmobiling and fishing.

Rick Hess
Sales and Leasing Consultant

A veteran of 20-plus years in the car business, Rick returns to Mills after working more than two years as used car manager at the former Swenson Motor Co., Willmar. And, he's never really left home, having been born/raised in Willmar, and graduating from Willmar High School. Rick is also a graduate of Hamline University with a degree in economics. His automotive career started at Manley Auto Center, Willmar, which later became Mills Auto Center. Rick and his wife, Linda, have one son and six grandchildren. He plays golf and enjoys watching his son drive in drag races.

Bailey Reuber
Sales and Leasing Consultant

Bailey started with Mills in April 2019, a warm & smiling face assisting both Willmar Mills dealerships for some time before moving to her current position.  Experience gained waitressing and bartending while working through college seemed to fit her friendly personality well and later transferred just as well to her current position.  "I really enjoyed it, I met and worked with a lot of great people" she said of her time working in hospitality.  "Now I am a sales consultant, which I enjoy even more, being challenged every day and selling cars is now my passion.  I have been so fortunate being able to progress and further my automotive knowledge in a bunch of different areas & build great relationships!" she said.   Bailey grew up in Hector MN, and graduated from Buffalo-Lake-Hector-Stewart High School in 2016 before initially pursuing a potential nursing degree attending Minnesota State University- Mankato, South Central Tech and eventually transferring to Ridgewater College in Hutchinson.  Bailey currently lives in Clara City with her (not orange) cat Cheeto, though she's looking into moving to the New London / Spicer area.  When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with family, grilling & being on the lake, rollerblading, and playing on a co-ed softball team / sand volleyball team in the summer.  She's also a big fan of attending concerts with friends.  "One of our main events we look forward to every year is Winstock, a big country music festival in the summer with different headliners each time" she said.
