Meet The Team

Dan joined Mills Auto Center in October of 1988. Dan and his wife Linda have 4 children; Connor, Ava, Audrey and Charles. In his free time he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

Ross started with Mills in 2021 having returned to his Minnesota roots after spending some time working at an O’Reilly Auto Parts store while living in Rosenberg, Texas. Ross grew up in Swift Falls, just outside of Benson, Minnesota which he describes with a smile as “a very small town of about 40 people”. He attended the Benson High School and worked in retail and customer service for several years but has been working around cars his entire life, an interest he’s been more focused on in the past few years. “I’m really excited for the opportunity to better my knowledge about the automobile industry” he said about joining the Mills team. Ross currently lives in Willmar with his 4 year old black lab “Ruby”, and when he’s not working he enjoys being outdoors. “I like to hunt and fish and most importantly, I love to hang out with my family and friends” he said.

I grew up in the Otsego/Albertville area, and my passion for the car business was sparked by the countless hours spent traveling with my parents for our family business. Without iPads or smartphones to distract us, our car rides were filled with conversations about vehicles. At just eight years old, I started mailing drawings of concept cars to my local Toyota dealership, Brookdale Toyota. In return, they would send back Toyota brochures—and once, even a sweatshirt—which was incredibly exciting for an eight-year-old car enthusiast. I was with Mills for three years and recently returned about a month ago. As a natural socializer and relator, I find joy in connecting with people and talking about something I truly love—cars, especially Toyotas. My goal is to learn and master every aspect of the automotive industry. Outside of work, I enjoy attending car shows, fishing, and traveling. A fun fact about me? I’m a true Toyota nerd—I weave cars into my everyday life. My daughter’s name is Camry, and we once owned a coffee shop called The Muddy Tailgate, where all the seating was made from tailgates. To top it all off, I’ve owned over 170 cars in my lifetime!
